Negotiations Ceased - No Longer in Planning
Stage One - Planning Phase
The initial planning for the farm began in early 2022 with the reconfiguration by the owner of Integument Media Co - Dale Palmer. During the pandemic Mr. Palmer began to reflect on the current positioning in the Community Association related businesses, and if it wouldn't allow him to expand into an area the had been a personal interest of his, for many years, Growing Gourmet Mushroom and Truffles.

That being said he began to do research into the possibilities of starting a smaller growing operation. Beginning in September of 2022 we aligned ourselves with Dr John Holliday of Mushroom Consulting LLC. Upon Dr. Holliday's recommendation we contact Dr. Omoanghe Isikhuemhen with Fungi Biotech, LLC to better begin the Tuffière, with one of the leading experts in inculcation and growing Truffles. With the knowledge of these two leading experts in the mushroom & fungal farming industry we began to look for the best location.

After placing an offer on three properties (and having them all fall through) we decided to move more slowly to find exactly what was needed.

Stage Two - Land Identification, Negotiatons, & Purchase Stage
At the beginning of 2022, Dale had to take some time off (or so he thought) from the planning stage to stabilize his other business Chicago office. In discussing this development with Dr Omon, he suggested we look at the Truffle - tuber caniliculatum (commonly known as Appalachian Truffle, Michigan Truffle, or Yellow furrowed truffle). During our research into the burgeoning "T Can" we were able to align with Appalachian Truffles to expand our search to the East coast as well as the Pacific Northwest. That lead us to negotiate and plan for two different site for development. Both sites, in addition to land suited for the Truffière, also will have good access to water for irrigation, several timbered acres for outside mushroom growth, and land enough for a 100 foot by 200 foot grow barn at both locations. In addition to the growing potential both Portland/Seattle and New York/Boston & Montreal are "Foodie" Metropolises, giving us the market share we need. These areas are:
Yamhill County, OregonCass County, MissouriUlster or Franklin County, New York Cecil County, Maryland.
